This box does require you to unbolt and remove the bar on the Passenger side under rear seat. By removing this bar we are able to get more mounting depth, more airspace and more baffle clearance for your sub which equals much better sound quality from your system.
Please tell us what subwoofer you are planning to use, so we can ensure proper fit in your subwoofer boxes.
